WHAT TO EXPECT
Your photo session is customized and designed to be simple, comfortable and fun. Sessions take place at your home (indoors and outdoors) or at another outdoor location like a local park. Outdoor sessions are typically scheduled in the morning and afternoon or evening two hours before sunset to take advantage of the beautiful sunlight.
AFTER YOUR SESSION
Your images will be complete and edited after 2-3 weeks following your session. You are able to select your prints and order through a private online gallery or we can schedule an online proofing session to go over your gallery. The gallery will remain active for up to 4 weeks. Packages, prints and gifts are purchased within this time. It will take about 14 business days to deliver print orders and 4-6 weeks for custom frames, albums and heirloom products. Rush delivery is available.
WHAT TO WEAR
Think simple. Find one perfect piece, whether it is a dress for you or a shirt for your son and pull colors from that for the rest of the outfits. Coordinating colors looks so much more pleasing than identical outfits. Try to avoid words on clothing or large logos. Choose one style then build from there. Have questions or need advice? LIFESTYLE SESSIONS
“Couples, Family, Children and Just Because”
Family sessions are perfect for families, babies & children, couples, high school seniors, maternity sessions or just because. Lifestyle sessions capture and document your family as it is now as well as milestone portraits of your family together. I customize each session around your family and personality.
NEWBORNS
LIFESTYLE SESSIONS If you prefer to photograph the milestone of your baby’s arrival I suggest scheduling a Lifestyle Family Session within the first 3 weeks. My goal is to document and capture your families unique personality and your family life as it is now.
CUSTOM SESSIONS The best time to schedule your newborn session is during your pregnancy. This ensures a spot on the calendar and then we await your big day. Since babies are rarely predictable, I fit your session in within the first 2 weeks after your delivery. Newborn sessions should occur within the first 2 weeks when baby is still sleepy and easy to pose so I can get those sweet, curled-up pictures. Plan for a relaxing session with plenty of time for diaper changes, feeding and snuggling. Mom, dad and siblings are welcome to join in for special pictures.
Newborn sessions are customized and focus more on your new baby and are held in the comfort of your home. Sessions include color coordinated props so your new photographs stand out and compliment your home. I carefully and gently pose your baby to create curly, squishy newborn pictures. There is time to feed and change your new baby and time for family pictures and lifestyle interactions
Newborn sessions generally run anywhere from 2-3 hours with time to feed, change and cuddle your baby. Sessions are held in the privacy and convenience of your home. Plan for a relaxing session with plenty of time for diaper changes, feeding and snuggling. Mom, dad and siblings are welcome to join in for some special pictures.

MATERNITY
Maternity sessions are usually taken around 32-35 weeks. Sessions are usually 30 minutes to an hour long.
RESTRICTIONS
You may book any day of the week excluding holidays and pre-reserved dates. The earlier you book, the better the chance of reserving the date and time of your choice. There is a non-refundable deposit that is required to reserve your session date. Please contact us to book your session today.
Travel up to 35 miles outside of Katonah, NY is included in all sessions, if you wish to have photos taken further away please contact me to discuss the details.
Session fees cover time and talent only. All prints and products are sold separately. Prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice. A non-refundable retainer fee is required to secure your session date.
GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift Certificates are available and start at $300. These can be used towards sessions and packages only. Payment options include cash/check or credit card via PayPal. Gift Certificates are non-negotiable and non-refundable.
BOOKING + PAYMENT INFO
Payment of Session Fee is due at time of booking to secure your date and is not refundable. Mini-sessions or special promotions are subject to availability and require full payment in advance and are not refundable and cannot be rescheduled. The deposit is not refundable and does not include any prints, digital images or products and covers the time and talent of the photographer only.
Cancellations require a fifteen day notice and can be rescheduled at that time; new session date is based on photographer availability.
Print & Product orders require payment upon your selection of products including digital images and prints. Print & Product orders cannot be sent for processing until payment is received.
Payments can be paid by cash, check or credit card via PayPal. Checks should be made to Snap Couture Photography. All products are subject to 7.375% sales tax. Deposit, Session Fee and Print + Product orders are not negotiable and not refundable.
